Last and First

Arriving in Binghamton after a semester in Florence and a Summer in NYC it's been kind of weird getting back into the swing of things at school after leaving such amazing things behind... But, being a Free People lover and associate their Monday quote on their blog hit the spot: "There are better things ahead than any we leave behind." by C.S. Lewis

Hurricanes & Blood Banks...

With all this rain and hurricane talk I've put myself into a Bon Iver coma. Coma, being that I've replayed 'Blood Bank' approximately 87 times within the past day. It just makes you want to snuggle up in the rain with someone you care about so much it hurts...its like, the song just gets it.

"You said 'Aint this just like the present to be showing up like this.'
As a moon waned a crescent, we started to kiss."

Sunny Afternoons

Went to the highline with my family this past week... Such an amazing little nook in NYC to walk. Captured some fun with my iphone!

Ahhhh, too good.

Obsession

While I'm not for one glitter and sparkle, I cannot help but fantasize about wearing this on my nails with chunky sweaters and worn out boots.

Very Braff

Tonight I'm going to see Zach Braff's 'All New People' off-broadway and couldn't be more excited. One, I know every line to Garden State at this point its almost pathetic. And two, apparently his new play is very Garden-state like. I know that the movie gets a lot of negative reviews considering half of the male population I know thinks its pretty sappy but it just gets to me in the best kind of way. That, and I'm also still not over the knight scene.

"This is my life, Dad. This is it. I've spent 26 years waiting for something else to start. So, no, I don't think it's too much to take on, because it's everything there is. I see now it's all of it. You and I are gonna be okay. You know that, right? We may not be as happy as you always dreamed we would be, but for the first time let's just allow ourselves to be whatever it is we are, and that will be better, okay? I think that will be better."

"Well besides that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the show?"

"What do you do? You laugh. I'm not saying I don't cry, but in between, I laugh. And I realize how silly it is to take anything too seriously. Plus, I look forward to a good cry. It feels pretty good."
